When AI Plays Reporter…
Apple’s notification summarization feature is under fire for spreading its own version of fake news. This time, it’s AI generated.
As part of the Apple Intelligence launch, Apple promotes its AI-generated notification summaries as a tool to condense and rewrite news app previews into a single alert for users’ lock screens.
Apple Intelligence, wyd?
Apple's AI took "breaking news" a bit too literally, breaking the actual news in the process.
The AI system recently generated notifications falsely claiming a darts player won a championship prematurely.
Apple promises fixes "in a few weeks" (Silicon Valley time, naturally).
So What?
This summarization error has led to what AI experts call “hallucinations,” where AI generates responses containing false or misleading information.
In Apple’s case, the AI’s attempt to consolidate and simplify notifications has resulted in combining words in a way that misrepresents events.
We're witnessing what happens when AI tries to play telephone with the news. While Apple aimed for "smart summaries," they got "creative fiction" instead.
If your iPhone tells you who won the Super Bowl today… you might need to double-check that one. 🤔

Talk to Your Notion Pages with ChatGPT

Activating Advanced Voice Mode with Notion, I promise there’s audio here
ChatGPT can now read from Notion 🤯.
I’ve been loving the new Tool Use features with ChatGPT, and yes, that means you can now talk to your Notion pages. Here’s how:
Open the ChatGPT Desktop App (Mac-only for now).
Click the Tool Icon below the chat window to pair with Notion.
Type your query or, if you’re feeling bold, activate Advanced Voice Mode and talk directly to your content!
I tested it out with my Master Content Idea list and asked ChatGPT (via voice) to break it into six content buckets. It nailed it.

Get Your Creative Juices Flowing with Google Whisk
Google Whisk is an innovative AI-powered image generation tool that enables users to create unique visuals by combining elements from existing images.
Unlike traditional AI image generators that rely solely on text prompts, Whisk allows you to upload images as references for subjects, scenes, and styles to create stellar outputs.
To use it:
Visit Google Whisk and sign in with your Google account.
Prepare three reference images - subject, scene, and style. This will enable you to create a scene with the subject in a given style, only with images.
Drag and drop your chosen images into the designated areas for subject, scene, and style to start remixing.
Guide the AI further by inputting brief text prompts to specify actions or color schemes!
🔥 Pro Tip: If you don’t have specific images, you can hit “Start from Scratch” and press “Inspire Me.” This feature provides suggestions to help you get started.
Whisk is particularly beneficial for marketers and creatives seeking to quickly generate inspiration for designs, images, and content. Check out our creation below. 👇️

Done with “Inspire Me”, pretty cool huh?
